Carsons Hair Gel

Since we've been styling Carson's hair with gel, every time he eats yogurt he thinks it's gel so he rubs it on his head as if he were styling his own hair. Very Cute!

Food storage

Our ward has been sending home paper bracelets with the primary children telling us what we need to get for our food storage that month. On Sunday Christa came home from church and told me that we need to get wheat and marshmallows for our food storage. I asked her if she was sure it was wheat and marshmallows and with that cute grin she said "I think so," then Kaylei said I think she means "wheat and yeast." Christa said "Oh yeah, wheat and yeast."

Baby Layla

Sept. 9, 2008 we added a new addition to our clan, Layla Grace. Christian and I went to the hospital at 7:00 in the morning. At 9:45 a.m. I was given the epidural and the the nurse started the pitosine at the same time. 2 hours later at 11:50 a.m. Layla was born. She weighed 6lbs. 14 oz. and was 18 inches long. It always amazes me what a miracle having a baby is, one minute they are in your stomach and the next your holding this sweet, beautiful baby. It also amazed me how much you can love someone only meeting them a few seconds before.

We brought her home on Sept. 11, and she has been sleeping through the night since. I will put her to bed around 10:00 p.m. and she will sleep until around 7:30 a.m. I cannot explain in words how much I love her.

My Sweet Kaylei

Today I woke up to breakfast in bed. Kaylei knew I was going to the doctor today in hopes of getting labor started. So she woke up at 4:45 a.m. and made me breakfast in bed. She had made a beautiful arrangement of toast and oranges on a plate with a candle in the middle and a goblet of apple juice. It was so sweet. Who could ask for a better daughter!!!
